Older exterior plastic trims that have started to look tired and faded can sometimes be difficult to rescue. Why? Because age-related weathering strips out oils and damages plastics permanently. Trim dressings only mask such problems, as opposed to fixing them. The trick then, is to use a product that replaces the lost oils as opposed to simply masking the signs of age, and which lasts for as long as possible, thus reducing the reapplication frequency. Nanolex Trim Rejuvenator uses nanotechnology to deliver an expected lifespan of up to twelve months per application, which is ten times longer than most trim dressings. It also does an excellent job of rectifying fading, and imparts an as-new satin finish that does not run or streak when it gets wet.

Description
Nanolex Trim Rejuvenator is a fast-curing nanotechnology coating that restores and protects plastic trims. Developed in Germany, it uses a high purity synthetic isoparaffin carrier solution to penetrate plastics and deposit conditioning agents at the molecular level. These conditioning agents not only restore the colour and lustre of weathered plastics, but also make them repel water vigorously. This not only results in impressive beading, but also encourages a degree of self-cleaning (akin to the Lotus Effect in nature). Furthermore, due to the strength of the chemical bond it forms with plastic surfaces, Nanolex Trim Rejuvenator is also highly resistant to cleaning chemicals, giving it a life expectancy of up to twelve months per application.

How To Use
You should apply Nanolex Trim Rejuvenator in a dry well-ventilated space out of direct sunlight. To protect your skin, we recommend wearing PB Nitrile Gloves during the application process. In all cases, prepare the surfaces you are going to treat in the normal way (wash > decontaminate), and then do a wipe down with Nanolex EX to ensure that they are spotlessly clean. Next, lightly wet a Nanolex Cotton Applicator Pad with product and begin wiping it evenly over the surfaces to be treated, using light pressure and overlapping strokes. The resulting film should then be left to dry for no longer than a minute before being buffed off with a Nanolex Microfiber Buffing Towel. Under normal conditions the coating will cure fully within several minutes of application, so it can be exposed to the elements straight away (although it is sensible to avoid washing the car for 72 hours afterwards).
