Here we have a fantastic antique brooch crafted from 22ct yellow gold at a time when the Art Nouveau style was at its pinnacle. An open framework with fleur-de-lis designs acts as the backdrop to the focal phoenix centre piece. The phoenix bears a diamond in its beak. The matte finish enhances the high level of definition on show here from the head and wings to the scaly reptile like skin.
